Sín Nombre

A tragic story depicting and fusing gang life throughout Central America with the struggles of making a dreadful, yet hopeful, trip from Honduras to Texas. Didn't find out until after that Diego Luna  and Gael Garcia Bernal were executive producers and featured cinematography by Adriano Goldman. Directed by Cary Fukunaga. Here are some Screen shots of some intense scenes, which I thought had strong visualizations. I think you should watch it.

San Francisco

A few shots from Alcatraz... Pun? Maybe a shitty pun. I'll take it, puns are funs. Oakland Bay Bridge (far left) is bigger/scarier than the Golden Gate Bridge (far right) Anyway, I'd like to live in S.F for a year or so. One Day.

Soy Cuba

A collaboration between Cuba and The USSR, following the Cuban Revolution. This Movie is my new favourite. Cinemetography is redunkulous. No other movie can compare, in any genre and that says a lot.
I would have really liked to show a clip, but the crappy quality videos on the internet give it no justice. It's unfortunate neither countries were happy with the film... thus setting it aside and never picking it up again until 1992 when it was rediscovered, rereleased and placed at the top of the list with some of greatest films of all time. Directed by Mikhail Kalatozov, written by Enrique Pineda Barnet and Yevgeny Yevtushenko (the poet)

There's also this cool documentary about the movie called The Siberian Mammoth. Click to watch it, if you're interested. Anyway, enjoy some of these great stills from the movie.

ps- cubanz had mad stilo.

musica:

I plan on sharing good music. Why not start with this one. You know a song is great when you instantly get a visual in your head...not of anything in particular, but enough to understand a certain tone the artist created. Idk, Just enjoy. Dope job, Marvin.
